Business Owner: Bob is the owner of, and the decision-maker for, Family Management Services, LLC.
Business Analyst: Bob is able to utilize analytical thinking skills, social skills, practical work experience, practical living experience, College Level night school experience (both as a student and as a teacher) and volunteer experience in the community to be able to propose innovative solutions to practical problems.
Workplace Trainer: Bob has experience working with the administration of training (both at the State of Maryland, Comptroller's Office and at the State of Maryland, Department of Health and Mental Hygiene). He has seven and one-half years of experience working as Adjunct Faculty at three different community colleges. He has completed the "Train the Trainer" class that was given (jointly) by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Community College of Baltimore. Bob and his wife (Karen) have (together) successfully raised two children to become capable and contributing adults in the community. They have managed their family household (together) for almost twenty-seven years. They have shared the responsibilities of working, providing, parenting, worshiping, socializing, volunteering, maintaining, building, caring for, teaching, coaching, etc. Together, they have been able to realize successful outcomes for their efforts. Bob has also participated in extensive organizational development as a volunteer in community organizations.
Executive-Level Administrative Staff Support: Bob served as the Primary Administrative Staff Support person for his friend (George) who was working as a DP Director at the DHMH. Bob worked (out-of-classification) as a DP Staff Specialist (in this capacity) for almost eight years until George's day of retirement. Bob assisted George with five year planning, project management documentation, technical writing, administrative writing, documenting executive-level project meetings, screening interviews, experience verification, educational verification, reference checks, drafting of fiscal notes, etc. Bob has also provided administrative support in various volunteer capacities. During his last seven to eight years at DHMH, Bob worked as a DP Staff Specialist in various assignments in "Information Security" under the supervision of Vince Luca, and Bill Fleming, with the guidance of of Dave Bickel, Jack Frost, and Art Thacher, and with the cooperation of various other coworkers. Bob also developed, maintained, and utilized the IT Contacts Data base for the purpose of maintaining communications with ninety different business units (statewide) within DHMH. This communications tool was used extensively for the "data eradication" project that involved the shredding and schmelting of hard drives for all excessed computers within DHMH.

Bob is an Alumni of the University of Maryland, University College where he completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in "Information Systems Management" in August of 1981. Bob is also an Alumni of Anne Arundel Community College where he completed an Associate of Applied Science Degree in "Computer Information Systems" with a specialty in "Personal Computer Systems Technology" in May of 2006 (four months after he retired). He continues to participate in Continuing Professional Education at AACC [related to his home-based business and related to his Professional Certification as a "Certified Computing Professional (CCP)" through the ICCP].
